David-Luke Henton, BSG is priest-in-charge of All Saints Episcopal Church in El Paso and Dean of the Borderlands Convocation of the Episcopal Diocese of the Rio Grande.  A former Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), he practiced in public mental health, primarily in the areas of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and older adult mental health before joining the faculty of the School of Social Work at Texas State University in San Marcos, where he served for 20 years as a Clinical Assistant Professor and sometime Director of Field Education.

He entered Vowed Religious Life in the Brotherhood of St. Gregory, a canonical religious community of the Episcopal Church in 2005, making his Life Profession of Vows in 2015.  From 2008 to 2020 he offered a seasonal retreat and hospitality ministry in Cloudcroft, New Mexico at St. Brigid’s Rest, and he continues to offer Spiritual Companionship (‘Direction’)  selectively with folks discerning calls to Holy Orders and/or Vowed Religious Life.

David-Luke holds degrees in History (BA) and Social Work (MSSW) from the University of Texas at Austin, and in Spiritual Formation (MAPM) from the Seminary of the Southwest.  He is a 2021 graduate of the Bishop’s School for Ministry of the Diocese of the Rio Grande in conjunction with the Iona Initiative of the Seminary of the Southwest, and holds a Certificate in Theology from Southwest in addition to the MAPM.

He was ordained a Deacon June 19, 2021 and a priest September 24, 2022 by Bishop Michael Hunn, and has served at All Saints since September 25, 2022.
