Father Phil and Melanie stood in front of All Saints Episcopal Church this morning as cars drove up to receive their “Ashes to Go” in observance of Ash Wednesday.

Father Phil said people started driving up to get their ashes around 7:30 a.m., many on their way to work. Many people driving by waved, some honked, and one Telemundo local Channel 48 TV crew went to their station and sent a reporter and camera crew back to conduct an interview.

Ash Wednesday Services will be held today at noon and 6:00 p.m.
